Our perks and Benefits: Work a 9-day fortnight at Full pay on the Enterprise agreementUp to 16 weeks paid parental leaveFertility leaveYearly corporate wear allowanceProfessional development and educational assistanceSalary starting from Base $131,851 + SuperAnd so much more!What you'll do: Work collaboratively with the Assessments & Approvals (A&A) leadership team to deliver the successful implementation of policy and procedures that ensure all applications are processed consistently and correctly in line with regulatory requirements and WaterNSW standards and processes.Utilise best practice change management and communication strategies to effectively lead the team and ensure buy-in of our people for new ways of working.Provide clear knowledge, advice and coaching to water regulation team to ensure quality outcomes as required by the regulatory framework that ensures WaterNSW always remains compliant.Manage workflow and prioritisation of activities for the Water Regulation team, including the administration of approvals, water access licences, dealings and processing of 2nd tier applications.Undertake day to day leadership activities to ensure the Water Regulation team has clear expectations, metrics, guidelines and support to enable effective performance.Promote and role model a growth mindset and knowledge transfer to support capability uplift within the Water Regulation team improving the overall customer service and employee experience at WaterNSW.What we are looking for: Diploma or degree in relevant discipline or equivalent industry experienceCurrent NSW Drivers LicenceKnowledge of regulatory frameworks with the ability to review, interpret and apply legislation in the workplaceExtensive experience in the use of corporate systems and databases to process requests including the accurate storage and extraction of informationExperience in managing teams to deliver quality and accurate service to customersProven experience in managing operational performance and fostering a high performance team cultureExperience communicating complex regulatory requirements to various stakeholders in a simple and easy to understand manner.Experience making quality and accurate decisions within a regulated environmentHow we will support you: At WaterNSW, we balance flexibility – and the way we work – with the needs of the business, our teams, and us as individuals.
