They are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to join their team.
Managing a team of 20 people across two locations, you are a change-manager seeking an opportunity to make a difference and improve performance through mentoring, management and process.
To achieve the right results, you are an organised planner who takes great pride in increasing the performance of a business and the people working with you. You drive operational success through building a positive team culture, re-engineering workflow, creating compliance measures, and monitoring performance on a daily and weekly basis.
Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with production planners/schedulers and procurement to ensure LEAN/JIT manufacturing practices are supported. Assess freight options, manage transport relationships, and optimize costs to maintain streamlined logistics. Oversee inventory management to ensure stock levels are 'live' and accurate to meet supply needs. Lead daily 5S LEAN manufacturing meetings, driving safety, continuous improvement, and operational efficiency. Utilize and maintain ERP systems to support warehouse operations, ensuring accuracy and process compliance. Ensure accurate and timely documentation for all transport and warehouse activities. Lead, motivate, and manage your team to meet picking targets, KPIs, and ensure optimal productivity. Foster a positive, safety-conscious team culture that promotes collaboration, accountability, and excellence. What We're Looking For: Strong leadership and communication skills with a proven ability to motivate and guide teams. Demonstrated experience in warehouse operations and a solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles. A hands-on approach to leadership with a focus on developing teams and optimizing operations. A valid forklift license with practical warehouse experience. Full Australian working rights and the physical capacity to perform hands-on warehouse tasks. Flexibility and the ability to manage multiple locations if required.
