Warehouse Store Person

Due to expansion, we are currently accepting expressions of interest for the position of Warehouse Storeman at KOMO Glass Trade. We want to hear from you! Our company, KOMO Glass Trade, based in SA, is a wholesaler of shower screens, mirrors, glass fencing, and glass balustrades, catering exclusively to trade customers.
Now that our new warehouse is open in VIC, located in Dandenong South, we are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated workers to join our team.
This role is available for 11/03/2024  start and includes comprehensive training.
About the role:
• Picking and dispatching orders for customers.
• Receiving deliveries and assisting with unloading containers.
• Maintaining warehouse cleanliness.
• Making deliveries with company vehicles and assisting customers with unloading.
• General warehouse tasks and forklift operation.
• Stock control.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• Previous experience in stores and warehousing.
• Proficiency in using manual handling equipment, such as powered forklifts or pallet jackets.
• Experience in cycle counting and stocktaking.
• Knowledge of store housekeeping procedures.
• Familiarity with pick/pack and delivery processes.
• Demonstrated understanding of providing excellent customer service, both internally and externally.
• Motivation, time management skills, and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills with colleagues and customers.
• Valid car, forklift licenses and light rigid licnese.
• Recent work-related references.
