To oversee the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of a wide range of goods, provide assistance to production staff in retrieving and storing goods in warehouse. Verify and monitor stock levels, pick and pack orders to be dispatched, following safe work procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards as set out in Group Quality Manual.
Unload materials from truck and sign delivery dockets with 'Subject to Check' (STC), noting any damages.Complete delivery check procedure & related documents for goods received, cross check with appropriate purchase order.Manage all goods deliveries, approve to accounts for payment by entering deliveries on the same day into accounting system, ABM.Wrap finished goods pallet in clear film and store in appropriate bays in warehouse.Facilitate logistical requirements for the organisation (couriers and freight)Communicate on the status of orders and assist in tracking shipments until delivery is completed. Ensure changes order status are communicated in a timely manner and assist in trouble-shooting order issues to maintain on time delivery.Pick and pack orders for dispatch and provide batch numbers to administrator and to customers organizing their own pick ups Ensure orders are picked and packed on time for transportLoad finished product onto truck, complete required documentation when necessary.Create Correct labelling & storage of raw materials and packaging materials.Check Correct labelling & storage of finished goods.Closely monitor Po due dates and expedite on the status for PO deliveries.Maintain and replenish stocks for consumables.Participate in the control & record keeping of waste management.Responsible for quality control of Finished goods going out. No damaged product is sent out. Responsible for quality control of goods coming in. No damaged material is accepted in. Liaise with Quality QC in regards to this matter.Ensure quarantined or rejected products are properly labelled and kept in the QA Hold Area.Ensure all raw materials have conforming Certificates of Analysis prior to storage. Liaise with Quality QC in regards to this matter.Comply with Safe Work Practices, Standard operating procedures (SOP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.Operate forklift according to Safe Work Practices, complete weekly checklistsClean and maintain work area according to cleaning schedule, SOP & GMP standards. Complete cleaning records and submit to QC in a timely fashion.Turn off equipment when not in use.Report all unsafe work practices or breaches to supervisor and contribute to a safe working environment.Assist the production staff when required, as assigned by the Production Supervisor.Assess pallet quality and enforce pallet quality standard.Perform cyclic stocktakes and update ABM system.
