The purpose of the role of the Warehouse Operative is to develop and build sustainable customer relationships through consistent interaction, innovative solutions, and a commitment to exceptional customer service. A key objective of this mission will be to ensure a well-organized and immaculate parts store whilst ensuring the efficient flow of inbound and outbound goods. This role requires some quick decision making and working under pressure.The role consists of:Develop and maintain customer relationships by providing repeated outstanding service.Manage customer expectations in regards to pricing and delivery times by using effective communication. This may involve dealing with conflict and disgruntled customers at times.Continually developing knowledge of Epiroc machinery, parts, and services to increase the level of customer service and ability to deliver.Warehouse cleanliness.Ensure warehouse and stores are organised and well presented.Participate in Supply on Call roster, taking calls for emergency parts and using your self-management skills to arrange the most appropriate solution for the customers' problem.Maintain a well-organised parts store, dealing effectively with incoming and outgoing goods, to both internal and external customers.Record keeping.Understand Epiroc OH&S Policies.Perform any SHEQ duties as required.Additional tasks as required.The following attributes would be highly regarded:Drive better customer satisfaction.Demonstrate efficiency.Follow instruction and procedures.Business thinking.Analyse and use sound judgement.Continuous improvement.Communicate effectively.Work with team.Networking.Work within the Epiroc Way.Epiroc is a global productivity partner for mining and construction customers, and accelerates the transformation toward a sustainable society.
