ABOUT THE ROLE Reporting to Operations Manager, you will enjoy working hands-on in the warehouse, responsible for the supervision of 7 dedicated warehouse operators / forklift drivers (full-time and casual) and the day to day management of the warehouse and yard, ensuring stock is stored, processed accurately, booked in, dispatched and / or recycled in a timely manner in accordance with Health and Safety requirements.

A key requirement is to continue creating a positive environment, supervising the warehouse, whilst enjoying working hands in the role.

ABOUT YOU To be successful in this role you will have:
3 – 5 years' experience within a leadership role, Prior experience in telecom related industries ideal, not essential, Knowledge of inventory and supply chain management, Management of transport suppliers including negotiation, Strong and proven ability to lead, train employees and work collaboratively with all levels of staff, Experience and knowledge in inventory, warehousing and distribution, Possess a current Forklift licence, Sound working knowledge of WH&S requirements, Able to handle multiple projects, meeting deadlines, Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, Ability to problem solve, make sound decisions, Tertiary studies in leadership & management or equivalent, Certificate III Warehousing Operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Supervising ensuring all activities are performed in compliance with the requirement of Company codes and standards, Liaise with other departments such as QHSE Advisor in the UK ensuring a high level of communication, Management of staff leave entitlements, Manage and coordinate all incoming and outgoing stock, sortation of goods to be recycled, Manage dispatch of goods, liaising with shipping and transport companies, Inventory management, including damages, monthly stocktakes, Organise, coordinate and direct warehouse activities ensuring work is completed on-time and within budget, Completion of reports, Improve warehouse work processes through strategic planning, Co-chair monthly Safety meetings and ensure weekly prestart equipment checks are completed.
