We are currently inviting applications for the position of Warehouse Manager based South of the River.
The primary role of the Warehouse Manager is to control the receiving, stocking and delivery functions for the branch. You will work closely with branch management and customers to ensure timely product deliver to customers whilst meeting budgetary and operational goals.
Reporting to the Regional Manager your responsibilities will include:
Accountabilities:
Mange all warehouse duties including shipping, receiving of materials, stocking, pricing, picking goods
Maintain warehouse cleanliness to compliance with HSE and safety policies
Work with branch management on budges and operational goals
Ensure daily work tasks are performed in a safe and efficient manner
Train, develop and coach team members
Undertake reporting and analysis
Ensure safety and compliance standards are adhered to at all times
Establish and maintain good rapport with internal and external customers and stakeholders
Site inspections to ensure warehouse and yard are kept to a high standard
About You:
The successful candidate will bring a sound knowledge of warehouse management with at least two years gained in a management position.
You will possess a commitment to providing exceptional customer service across all channels, written, verbal phone and face to face.
As a seasoned professional you will articulate tailored solutions clearly and concisely and have an adaptive style depending on the audience.
A high attention to detail is required for this role together with the ability to think creatively and accomplish objectives within given timeframes.
The ability to work effectively under pressure, be highly organised and maintain a professional approach is key.
