Working on a Saturday once a month may be required.What The Role EntailsThis is a role where you will learn all aspects of the auction business over time.When you are in the consigning department, you will assist with getting goods ready for auction.When in the shipping department, you will do pick packing and some customer service.What your day will look like in the consigning department:Assist with the receiving of products for auction, unloading trucks and containers.Getting products ready for auction.Photographing products and writing descriptions, uploading them to the data hub for checking.Some heavy lifting may be required.Deliver outstanding customer service to clients and customers.Promoting a safe and healthy work environment.When you are in a pick/pack role in the shipping department:What Your Day Will Look LikeGetting products ready for shipping by assessing the best way to get them to their new owners safely. A lot of what we auction is fragile and rare.Dispatch of goods.Some heavy lifting may be required.Deliver outstanding customer service to customers who come to collect their winning bids.Ad hoc warehouse duties.Promoting a safe and healthy work environment.What You Are Great AtYou hold a current clean Australian driver's licence and the ability to drive manual and automatic vehicles.A forklift license or truck license is not essential but is nice to have.You are positive and happy at work.You keep calm even on those busy days.Your excellent time management skills mean the workload flows smoothly.Flexible; you adapt to a change of situation with a smile.Good sense of humor.
