The role We are looking for a strong and enthusiastic Warehouse Afternoon Shift Supervisor for our Victorian Warehouse in Tarneit. The focus of this role is to lead our team of afternoon shift warehouse and distribution staff in the effective and efficient movement of product both into and out of the Warehouse.
Great knowledge of all facets of the warehouse, your team, OH&S, pallet control and inventory processes will all help with success for both you and the company - achieved through a motivated team-oriented hands-on operator.
Primary responsibilities include: Supervise the operations function of the Warehouse to achieve business performance targets around inventory control, Team leadership, quality service and high safety standards.Administer and handle our PRONTO warehouse management system which includes RF picking. Oversee the preparation and accurate pick process of daily outwards moving deliveries ensuring daily targets are obtained both accurately and efficiently.Manage the receipt of a constant flow of inwards goods (both container deliveries and palletised) ensuring goods are receipted and inventoried in an accurate and timely manner to minimise delay of any dispatch.Build and promote a team environment focused on engaging the team to work collaboratively, efficiently and accurately to achieve the overall company objectives.Initiate recommendations for continuous improvement of company processes and standard procedures.Work within and as part of the team on our afternoon shift. To be successful in your application, you must be able to satisfy the following requirements: Enthusiastic team leader with a will to succeed within warehouse/distribution leadership roleFamiliarity with electronic warehouse management systemDemonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, drive change and deliver results.Outstanding organisational and time management skills - with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.Great communication skills, both verbal and writtenHigh level of initiative, personal drive, motivation and resilience Thorough attention to detail.Proficient PC skills in the Microsoft Office suite.Knowledge of OH&S policies and related experience preferred.Flexible 'hands-on' approach and not afraid of hard work.
