The Company Our client is a leading provider of global supply chain management, warehousing, and freight forwarding solutions, serving businesses from startups to multinational corporations.
Established over 40 years ago, they are currently experiencing significant growth due to their strong position in the industry.
They are seeking a Warehouse Administrator to join their expanding Sydney operations.
Purpose Act as the primary point of contact for designated warehouse customers, ensuring their interests are represented and all agreed services are delivered effectively.
Key Objectives Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
Coordinate daily operations, including freight receiving, order picking, and dispatch, ensuring Delivery in Full On Time (DIFOT) standards are achieved.
Provide accurate and timely reporting to customers and internal teams.
Manage data entry and billing processes to meet agreed timelines.
Identify and implement process improvements to optimize performance.
Ensure operational continuity and compliance with risk management standards.
Responsibilities Manage receiving, picking, and dispatch processes for assigned customers.
Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure goods are processed within two working days.
Prioritize tasks to meet customer expectations and DIFOT requirements.
Accurately record and report all additional charges daily.
Update systems (e.g., ICS, Pronto) promptly and escalate issues as needed.
Submit weekly and monthly billing within agreed deadlines.
Evaluate and improve operational processes, focusing on resource planning and performance metrics.
Provide training and mentoring to build team capability.
To Be Successful in This Role Proficient computer skills, including updating spreadsheets and booking courier services.
Experience with Pronto, ICS, and MS Outlook is highly advantageous.
Must hold full working rights.
Strong administrative experience within a warehouse environment.
Excellent communication skills with clients and vendors.
Energetic, proactive, and self-motivated approach.
Strong problem-solving abilities in operational contexts.
Prior experience in logistics, warehousing, and 3PL (highly desirable).
