Vp, Statutory Reporting (Banking)

Our client is a mid-cap ASX-listed Bank with an excellent opportunity for a Big 4 trained, CA qualified professional to join as VP, Statutory Reporting in their Sydney office.
You will: Lead a team in the preparation of statutory financial statements and managing the year end and half year audit process.Assist with ASX reporting including quarterly reporting.Support the broader business operations and management teams by providing relevant, accurate and timely sector specific financial information and expertise both on a regular and ad-hoc basis as required.Assist with the delivery of monthly consolidated management accounts, P&L, balance sheet and cash flows.Assist both the CFO and the Group Financial Controller on an ad-hoc needs basis.Drive change from both a cultural and process re-engineering perspective.The successful candidate will be a CA/CPA with strong technical accounting experience overseeing the preparation and/or auditing financial statements.
Exposure to listed ASX environments in Banking / Financial Services is essential. You will possess: Relevant degree + CA/CPA qualification.10+ years experience in ASX-listed Statutory Reporting in Banking and/or Big 4 Audit experience with Banking / FS clients.Proven leadership & staff mentoring experience.Ability to apply analytical and problem-solving skills and continuous improvement mindset; driving cultural change and automation.Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to develop relationships with team members, key stakeholders, and internal customers.Excellent working knowledge of ASX, APRA and ASIC Reporting requirements.Full Australian working rights & fluent English skills.Please click on Apply.
