This role is in Sydney with a hybrid work model.The successful candidate will need to have experience as a Transaction Manager or Lawyer working across a variety of Debt Capital Market instruments, primarily with Securitization documentation experience.In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:Be the primary point of contact for the client and their counsel following a successful mandate on a new transaction, including liaising with the Business Development Team, appointing external Counsel, negotiating documentation in line with BNY Standards, and presenting the transaction to various internal stakeholders and approval committees.Be responsible for managing the transaction through to successful close and then transitioning the deal to the ongoing Client management team.Be familiar with BNY Policies and Procedures and demonstrate a commitment to ongoing learning and development of Products serviced by BNY.Manage various transactional stakeholders and their competing interests.Be knowledgeable about the Australian Securitisation industry and have experience in reviewing documentation, particularly Trust Deeds, Agency Agreements, Subscription Agreements, Trust Management arrangements, and Security arrangements.To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:Experience as a Transaction Manager or Lawyer in the Debt Capital market space, with securitization experience is required.Bachelor's degree preferably in finance or a related area, or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.7-10 years of total work experience preferred.At BNY, our culture speaks for itself.
