Position Summary:The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inspecting pressure vessels, holding ASME Level 1 or 2 and API 510 or AICIP certifications. This position requires a detail-oriented professional committed to ensuring the safety and integrity of pressure vessels across a range of industries.
Key Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive inspections of pressure vessels to identify potential flaws, corrosion, and compliance with safety standards.Review vessel compliance with ASME and API standards, ensuring all inspections meet regulatory and safety requirements.Prepare and document inspection reports, noting findings, recommendations, and any required repairs or corrective actions.Collaborate with clients and team members to provide accurate assessments and technical insights.Verify vessel maintenance and repair records, ensuring proper documentation and historical accuracy.Utilize Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) techniques when applicable to assist in vessel inspections.Qualifications:ASME Level 1 or 2 certification.API 510 or AICIP certification is required.NDT certification is advantageous.Proven experience in inspecting pressure vessels and a solid understanding of related safety and compliance standards.Strong attention to detail, with the ability to produce thorough, accurate reports.Requirements:Proficiency in understanding and applying ASME and API codes.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in diverse environments.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
