As a Venues Technician, you'll be an integral part of our team, responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of audio, lighting, and visual equipment during events. Your expertise will help create immersive atmospheres and enhance the overall experience for our guests. The "Venues Technician" role is responsible for: Delivering the technical and production services to venue hirers and clients. Ensuring that all technical aspects of the venues and equipment are well maintained, and that client requirements are met satisfactorily with the facilities available. Working with the Venues Technician Supervisor and Operations & Production Coordinator to ensure all operational aspects of the venues including maintenance and compliance are met. Operating all technical aspects pertaining to the use of staging, rigging and associated theatrical. TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED Ideally we would like you to have a Certificate III in Live Production, Theatre & Events or similar or equivalent relevant experience however this is not essential. Council are willing assist the successful candidate with any training or qualifications that are needed for the role. Salary range: Grade 11 -$1,310.30 - $1,417.90 per week plus 11.5% Superannuation for a 38 hour work week, plus relocation assistance. Penalty rates apply for weekends and regular overtime. Salary may be negotiated based on skills, experience and your value to our organisation. NOTE: Ordinary hours of work shall be a spread of hours across a seven (7) day roster, based on an average of 38 hours per week, not exceeding 152 hours in any four week period.
