You will need a Standard 11 issued within the last 5 years & Statement of Attainments issued within the last 5 years for RII's in Vacuum Excavations or Water Jetting plus Heavy Rigid RII for site operation. Level 2 Plant Operators demonstrate a good level of competence and possess a broad depth of understanding and experience Vacuum Excavations. You can expect to be working as a dedicated Vac Truck amongst our crews constructing drill pads, dams and roads and also a variety of general civil works on the surface of the mine site. You will be working on a small crew, reporting directly to the Site Supervisor. We want someone that is focused on a long-term position.Travel: For compliance with fatigue and travel management, this role is only suitable for:FIFO from Brisbane Airport, with you living within 2 hours from the airport.FIFO from Cairns Airport, with you living 1 hour from the airport.DIDO with you living up to 4 hours from Moranbah.What's in it for youDay shift only, 7&7 roster with travel scheduling organised by us.Paid flights for FIFO or travel allowance for DIDO and camp style accommodation provided.Permanent Full-Time contracts, 5 weeks annual leave plus sick leave entitlements.Very Modern Fleet, low hour equipment. (predominantly CAT)Small stable team where your contributions will be directly felt and recognised.We pay for and encourage employee lead Training & Development.We are an organisation that values its employees and team culture, supporting people in their own growth.Retention Allowance above hourly rate.Duties will include:Perform Prestart inspections on every machine operated.Complete Day Works Sheets (DWS) correctly and submit to the Site Supervisor daily for approval and invoicing.Submit all Close Out Pages on SWIs and SWGs together with all signed off JSEAs and JSAs to the Site Supervisor at the end of each swing.Participate in development of site-specific Job Safety Analysis (JSA)'s signature acknowledgement for every task undertaken.Review and sign Authority to Work (ATW), Permit to Work and relevant work packs prior to task commencement.Complete Personal Risk Assessments (SLAM's- Stop, Look, Assess, Manage) before commencing tasks.Contribute to daily Prestart Meetings and Toolbox Talks.Report Incidents or Hazards, once the area has been made safe, to the Supervisor and no later than end of day that shift.Taking regular breaks to ensure fatigue management hours are not exceeded.Completing Medical Declarations, Fatigue declarations forms and submitting prior to swings.Your Personal AttributesYou approach tasks with a proactive 'can-do' attitude.You foster effective communication and collaboration with colleagues.You embrace a collaborative approach by being a team player.You have a strong commitment to safe working practices.Your Skills & QualificationsExperience in a similar role.Current Open HR Drivers Licence.Can use computers and learn online.Write and speak clearly.Demonstrate understanding of civil works in mining-related operations, including the intricacies of the industry, safety protocols, and best practices.You must have a Standard 11 certificate dated within the previous 5 years and experience in Vacuum Excavations with Current RII Competency (Statement of Attainment) dated within the previous 5 years for the operation of:RIICCM303 - Conduct Vacuum Excavations or MSMSS00004- Operate a High Pressure Water Jetting SystemAdditional highly desired skills and RII Competencies (Statement of Attainment) dated within the previous 5 years:RIIHAN311 - Conduct operations with integrated tool carrierRIIMPO206 - Conduct bulk water truck operationsRIIMPO212 - Service mine plant and equipmentNote: RIIVEH307- Operate a heavy rigid vehicle required for Service & Water Truck.
