Be a driving force in our journey of evolution at Curtin University! Your new role This role designs engaging user experiences for digital products based on user research and analysis. It involves the entire design process, from concept to release, including storytelling, persona design, journey mapping, prototyping, and wireframes. Focus areas include content, controls, visual design, information architecture, user research, branding, and support. The role ensures quality control and alignment of frontend development with validated designs, covering diverse projects from complex learning tools to simpler web forms and reports. Key Responsibilities: Design frontend applications. Provide design quality review and advice to developers. Contribute to the promotion of UX design practice. Participate and provide input to planning. Collaborate with Product Owners, end users, and other stakeholders. Create device agnostic wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, personas, site maps and more to effectively communicate interactions and design ideas. Conduct user research to evaluate and provide input into product designs. Liaise with various Curtin teams to ensure alignment with design standards and practices. Ensure designs meet accessibility standards through usability and user testing. We are looking for someone with: Demonstrated experience and creative talent as a product UX designer with a portfolio of exceptional design work. Demonstrated understanding and application of user centred design principles. Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to design solutions which support the achievement of business outcomes.
