Mater Private Hospital Townsville along with Townsville University Hospital are seeking enthusiastic qualified General Paediatricians to join our teams.
This is a unique opportunity for both new and experienced general paediatricians that includes supported independent private practice with Mater Mothers' Private Hospital Townsville and a part time public appointment at the Townsville University Hospital.

Townsville University Hospital has a comprehensive maternal and paediatric service tailored to the care, and treatment of children in the North Queensland Community.

What you will be doing: This role will be primarily based in private practice with a part time appointment at the Townsville University Hospital.
Specifically, the role will be required to provide in-patient and on call service to our Mater Mothers Private Hospital.
We will support you in your transition to private practice.
To be successful in this role you will have: Registration as a Medical Practitioner without conditions, with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Specialist registration: Paediatrics and Child Health – General Paediatrics Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) or equivalent Completed Advanced Training in General Paediatrics with the RACP or equivalent For further information, please contact Stephanie Barwick, General Manager (Mater Private Hospital Townsville) on 07 4727 4444.
