ING is looking to bring on a UX designer, who is not only passionate about design itself but can also create the best experience for all our customers. You will work closely with the UX lead, product and engineering teams to create innovative experiences across all of ING’s products. This role is focused on implementation in the end to end delivery of consumer facing transactional & informational experiences.
What are you going to do?
Work on large/complex digital initiatives through partnership with Product Owners & Business Stakeholders.
Design and manage research programs aimed at a surfacing underlying customer needs, and testing and validating concept designs.
Contribute to the direction and development of concepts, solution opportunities, and design rationale to team members and stakeholders, and turning these concepts and ideas into executable strategy.
Act as an advocate for user experience across the business, increasing engagement and business understanding of the value and benefits of this function, and effectively communicating research findings, conceptual ideas and detailed design rational.
What are we looking for? Someone who…
Has at least 3 years experience working in a UX role
Has strong working knowledge of information architecture, taskflow models, UI Specs, Design Specs, wireframing, prototyping and user-centred design principles
Has been responsible for mentoring other UX Designers and working across large scale UX projects
Must have technical experience across Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator or equivalent
Must have good understanding of UX experience designing for mobile/tablet devices
Must have good experience in the following technical skills: wireframing/prototyping tool with Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, MS Visio, Axure (or similar)
