Our client, a global Gold mining business is seeking an Underground Mine Planning Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading gold producer in a role that has great growth potential. The role is on either a 5:2, 4:3 or an 8/6 roster. The role is residential in Kalgoorlie with relocation packages available for the right candidate.
Job details: Reporting to the Senior Engineer, the primary role will be delivering mine plans in a safe and efficient mannerProduce accurate and clear mine instructions including both lateral and vertical mine development stope note plansProduce mine designs ready for the mine schedule and economic analysis of stopesWork closely with the geology team to ensure designs are in line with available geological informationAssisting management of underground contractors for project work where requiredSuccess in this role will come from your skills in being engaging, consultative, and approachable along with versatility and critical thinking.
We require: Bachelor Degree in Mining EngineeringMinimum of 3+ years working in an underground mine, preferentially GoldCompetency in using various Deswik packages (CAD, IS)This is an exceptional career opportunity that offers unparalleled potential for advancement as well as avenues for personal growth.
