Underground Drill Fitter

About Westfill is a specialised underground mining contractor and service provider based in Western Australia, with decades of boots-on-the-ground experience and practical knowledge to provide quality personnel, products and operational contract services into the underground mining industry. 
We are currently seeking experienced Underground Drill Fitters to fill multiple vacancies with our highly regarded owner operator clients on a FIFO 8:6 Roster.
Responsibilities: As an Underground Drill Fitter at Westfill, you will play a pivotal role. Your responsibilities will include:
Servicing and breakdown repairsPreventative maintenance and defect repairsFault finding – mechanical, hydraulic, electricalScope jobs accurately for quality repair of plant and equipment including estimation of time, materials and resources required to complete the jobGeneral workshop duties and housekeepingAdhere to all site safety protocolsParticipate in shift changeover and collect information for upcoming shift tasksPromote an enjoyable, safe and productive work environmentQualifications: Diesel, Plant or Heavy Automotive Trade Certificate Preferably 2 years' post trade experience working in heavy machinery, agriculture, civil, construction or mining environmentBe self-motivated and have a team orientated approachCurrent Valid Manual Driver's License Full Australian Working Rights Working for Westfill: Above Market Rates on OfferOngoing Project WorksFull time Permanent Employment Opportunity Training & Development Fortnightly PayIf you're ready to take your career to new heights and be part of a company that values expertise, teamwork, safety and innovation, apply now.
