We are recruiting for an additional estimator/designer to complement our design team in designing timber Roof & Floor Trusses and Wall Frames, with further scope to learn and develop skills in our Wall Panelised Systems and Floor Cassette design.
Skills & Attributes A positive and enthusiastic attitude with a desire to build your career Open to learning new ways of doing things and being a pivotal member of our team Strong eye for detail, accuracy, and time management Key Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service to our clients Follow up on all customer inquiries and concerns in a timely manner Identify and resolve issues such as unclear plans or discrepancies between plans and customer specifications Interpret customers' plans and generate quotes in Pryda Estimate/Design Truss & Frame Jobs in our Pryda V5 Software Work with our in-house Designers to learn our software, system & processes Work on Development Projects with our Design Manager &/or Senior Designers Advantageous Experience in Pryda Software Familiar with CAD-based software i.e. AutoCAD, HSBCad. Knowledge of drafting or architectural design Understanding of the timber industry Strong communication skills Team player Ability to work unsupervised We are interested in hearing from both experienced Truss & Frame Estimators, Designers, and trainees interested in beginning their career in the truss and frame industry.
