We are working with a Sydney based Travel / Events company, who specialise in Prizewinner Travel / Special Events and Group Travel.
This well establish company are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Account Manager and Office Administrator, to come and join the world of Events Travel!
Job tasks and responsibilities: Provide day to day support to the Event Managers/Directors and team Preparation of miscellaneous documents as requested by the team.
Research relevant suppliers, venues, themes and other requirements for proposals and the overall program.
Liaison with the Travel Department as per travel procedures to manage flight changes and PNRs.
Diligent cross-checks.
Review and manage room blocks, flight inventory, and attrition and transfer requirements.
Support the team with client communication.
Share all client communication with the team, highlighting requests, concerns, complaints, issues raised.
Provide assistance and support to the team on site / at events.
Take responsibility for allocated tasks.
Work necessary hours for successful delivery and completion of the program.
Set up event databases and registration websites to manage group information.
Management of all delegate communications; broadcast emails, delegate itineraries including pre-trip information and onsite program, confirmation letters.
Support the team in preparation and finalisation of operations documents outlining all details of programs.
Assisting the team members with research, quote requests, proposals and budgets.
Attend client meetings and presentations as required.
The person: Previous experience within Event / Hospitality Management / Travel Experience with events software "EventsAIR" well regarded but not essential.
Advanced computer skills for Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint Exceptional attention to details and good time management skills Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment High level customer service skills Team player Strong administrative skills The package: Starting salary - $50,000 - $60,000 + Super Full time Office based (fantastic central Sydney based location) Great way to kick start your career within the Events / Travel Industry Travel included as part of the role!
