Road Transport (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics) Full time NSR Trans is a WA Family owned company and is a subsidiary of NSR Hire. We have branch locations in Perth, Newman, Port Hedland, Karratha, Broome, Kalgoorlie, and Busselton and require an experienced, motivated, and organised operator to lead and manage our transport division.
This position is a full-time position based out of our Welshpool depot, with travel to the branches required at times. Opportunities to be based out of Newman are also available.
Remuneration will be based on experience.
What we offer: Office Hours 7.00am to 5pm, Monday to Friday A friendly team environment Support for your role Work Vehicle & Fuel Key Accountabilities: Hire, train, and manage drivers ensuring that all drivers have the correct and up-to-date qualifications, medicals, and fatigue management training. Schedule, quote, and plan transport following fatigue guidelines and WA HVA regulations. Ensure drivers and the company follow WA HVA regulations and remain compliant with logbook competition and asset inspections. Arrange repairs and routine maintenance on all trucks and trailers in the transport fleet. Maintain and complete accurate records (logbooks, inspections, etc.) for audit purposes. Liaise with NSR Hire team members to schedule and plan required mobilization and demobilizations. Maximize transport potential by coordinating backloads where possible.
