Transformation Lead / Project Manager Melbourne, Victoria, Australia and 1 more Job Description Transformation Lead / Project Manager  Reference number: 10428 Closing date:  11 October 2024 12 month temporary full-time position until November 2025 |  Hybrid working arrangements Salary commencing at $110,064 - $125,899 per annum plus 11.5% superannuation, commensurate with experience Monthly RDOs available Hybrid working arrangements available (3 days in the office, 2 days working from home) The Opportunity  A great opportunity within the Council's Transformation team, this role will see you leading and managing projects in line with IT&T Strategy.
You will work in collaboration with stakeholders across the Council to understand business needs and requirements.
Provide guidance and technical options/solutions and develop business cases and benefits realisation documentation.
To provide leadership on projects and deliverables within the Transformation department and across the Council.
You will define and develop a project plan for projects to specify detailed scope, schedule, budget, risks, resource plan and project governance structure required to successfully deliver.
Responsibilities .
Lead scoping activity to define functional and non-functional requirements.
Lead the planning and management of end-to-end projects.
Lead procurement activities of applications being replaced within scope of delegated financial authority.
Manage vendors and lead project teams to complete the implementation of enhancements and new applications on multiple systems.
Investigate requirements, problems and opportunities to find effective solutions through improvements of existing applications or analysis and comparison of new applications.
Provide guidance and support to the Transformation team and across Council.
Skills & Experience Relevant tertiary qualification in information systems, or similar, with several years demonstrated commercial experience.
Demonstrated experience in the successful delivery of application or software implementation projects.
Project management skills supported by a broad understanding of project management methodologies and certifications.
Proven ability to initiate projects, facilitate workshops, scope and analyse requirements and document and report project outcomes.
Ability to understand complex contemporary technical environments and present them in common language to facilitate the decision-making process.
