Come and be a part of this success here About the Role Broadmeadow is located in Queensland's Bowen Basin on the traditional lands of the Barada Barna people, 34 kilometres north of Moranbah.
It is a longwall underground coal operation.
We are currently seeking the expertise of a Training Coordinator.
Reporting to the Superintendent Training & Contracts, you will be responsible for the practical implementation of the Broadmeadow Safety & Health Management System and training compliance, while managing and tracking the training competencies for all employees at the Mine.
The Training Department Technician, Specialist and School-Based Trainee will report directly to this role.
Key responsibilities include: Advise internal stakeholders on suitable course of action with regards to closing training compliance gaps Facilitate Trainer Assessor Appointment sessions Team leader to Training Specialists and Training Technician roles Onboard and maintain any required employees and contractors  Facilitate communication channels for training requirements  Coordinate issues, settlement and disputes with training compliance Schedule and coordinate training RTO's for relevant RII competency training  Document management and record keeping Participate in field leadership activities  Review and monitor team KPI's Identify continuous improvement initiatives to drive process, cost and productivity improvements for Broadmeadow Mine  Train end users (if applicable) on the training systems Coordinate document reviews and training needs analysis updates  Raise and coordinate creation of Purchase Requisitions for RII competency training requirements  Participate in Underground field leadership activities    About You As the successful candidate, you will possess the following skills and experience:  Formal qualifications and/or equivalent experience in Training, Human Resources or Organisational Development is advantageous Trainer Assessor Qualification Excellent communication skills and an ability to influence various stakeholders Working knowledge and skills in Microsoft Suite and SAP while experience with SuccessFactors would be highly regarded  Experience with value-chain optimisation Ability to identify and project manage improvement opportunities and to build, promote and encourage a "step-up" culture within the department A strong desire to mentor and lead a team The ability to actively engage relevant stakeholders and enjoy collaboration and networking Proactive working style, great use of initiative and exceptional level of attention to detail   About our Process  At BHP, we are committed to employing individuals who align with the BHP Charter Values and meet the requirements of the role.
