For more informationvisit our website.What you'll be doingThis position is a training role with the aim of developing well qualified finance staff and meeting succession planning goals. While the position reports to the Manager Financial Services, it is expected that the successful applicant will work in a variety of roles within the Finance and Performance Directorate and other relevant divisions, gaining experience and at the same time filling a busy and vital role. A large part of the experience will come through being assigned to  work in a range of teams to meet operational needs .This position will also perform duties associated with cashier banking and receipting, revenue billing, travel and fleet bookings, and financialmanagement reporting
 Selection Criteria:1. Recently completed or significantly completed university qualification in Accounting, Business or Commerce majoring in accounting.
2. Excellent time management skills when working under pressure with the ability to meet conflicting deadlines.
3. Well-developed interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work unsupervised including the use of initiative to effectively complete tasks and ability to problem solve.
4. Well developed competency using information and communication technology software programs for tasks including financial accounting, word-processing, emailing, internet searching, data entry and presentations and ability to readily learn new systems and programs.
5. Demonstrated excellent customer service ensuring effective oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals and organisations.
6. Ability to work as part of a team within a busy finance environment.
7. Evidence of a current unrestricted drivers’ licence and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drivetravel as the role requires. This may involve driving long distances and overnight stays.
