About the Role The Northeast Auto Group's Engineering Department is looking to welcome an experienced Trade Assistant across their day and afternoon shift teams.
We are looking for someone who has a passion for automotive, is mechanically minded, and is excited to learn and develop their skills within the production workshop.
Key Responsibilities Assisting with the fitment, installation, and assembly of parts and components as directedLoading and unloading materials and toolsPreparing workspaces and toolsMeasuring and cutting materials per the design specsAssisting the qualified Trades PersonAbout You Strong interest and passion for developing your skills in the automotive industryA sense of pride and ownership in your workExperience with hand and power toolsPrevious welding experience, or experience within a similar role/industry is highly regardedAbility to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a teamValid Australian Driver's LicenseAbout Us Established in 1995, the Northeast Auto Group is a national award-winning automotive retail and service organization employing 600 people in South Australia, Victoria, Queensland, New South Wales, and Northern Territory.
