THE OPPORTUNITY
Due to continued growth and customer demand, we have opportunities available for Trade Assistants to join our team in Brendale. You'll enjoy a great work/life balance and no weekend work, in a new, clean work environment. The role will involve supporting the fit out of new products on high-end vehicle builds. This includes performing varied hands-on tasks to ensure the quality installation of tray and canopy packages. You will maintain a high level of safety, reliability and operational performance to ensure customer satisfaction.
Your responsibilities will include:
Performing varied fitting tasks, including deburr and material prep
Packing and loading builds
Ensuring trays and canopies are cleaned once work and logging job reports in scheduling systems in line with company procedure
Carrying out inspections and quality control throughout the production process
Ensuring the health and safety of all customers, visitors and team members
Undertaking activities in a team environment and meeting safety, time, quality and production targets
Identifying, assessing and controlling workplace hazards
Maintaining workplace cleanliness and tool and equipment care
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The ideal candidate will have:
Current Australian Manual Drivers Licence
Strong, ongoing commitment to workplace health & safety
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a multi-skilled team environment
