About the role:We are seeking a dynamic Test Manager to lead and manage all testing activities for the AMS Stabilisation Project. The role involves ensuring the system's quality, stability, and performance post-stabilisation, with a particular emphasis on integration, user acceptance testing (UAT), system validation, and addressing issues effectively. This hands-on role includes crafting robust test strategies and ensuring the AMS aligns with both business and operational goals.Key ResponsibilitiesThe Test Manager will:Oversee all testing phases, including System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing, and Regression Testing, ensuring AMS functionality and integrations align with project requirements.Develop, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts for functional and non-functional testing.Collaborate with project managers, developers, business analysts, and external vendors to define testing needs, track issues, and manage the overall testing lifecycle.Coordinate testing efforts by preparing test environments, allocating resources, and managing testing schedules to ensure adherence to timelines.Maintain thorough test documentation, including strategies, plans, results, and reports, to monitor testing progress and outcomes.Manage defect tracking, prioritization, and resolution to address issues before the system goes live.Conduct regular updates and risk assessments for stakeholders to provide insights into the testing progress.Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards and recommend process improvements as needed.Leverage automated testing tools, where appropriate, to enhance testing efficiency and scalability.Required Experience and SkillsAt least 8 years of experience as a Test Manager in large or medium-sized enterprises, managing testing for complex systems.Proven experience in testing enterprise applications, particularly Asset Management Systems (AMS).Familiarity with AMS platforms and integration into broader technologies.Expertise in designing and executing test plans, strategies, and scripts across functional, regression, UAT, and performance testing.Solid understanding of agile testing methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.Experience in defect management and continuous improvement processes.Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly present results, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders.Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and tools is advantageous.Preferred SkillsExperience with cloud environments such as Azure or AWS.Familiarity with testing integrations between legacy systems and modern applications.Knowledge of data migration, ETL processes, and validation testing.An understanding of NSW Government asset management practices is beneficial.BenefitsSupportive and diverse workplace cultureProfessional Team EnvironmentOpportunities for career development Job Reference # 267654To be considered for the role click the 'apply' button or for more information about this and other opportunities please contact Aditi Yadav on 02 9464 5530 or email: ****** and quote the above job reference number.
