About the role
Opportunity for an experienced Test Lead to drive testing outcomes within a core functional team for a telephony uplift program of work. You will be part of a technology driven program to modernise legacy telephony hardware and services including switchboard, voice, fax, call centre and call recording that will support RBA's strategic platform.
As part of this role, you will focus on Infrastructure & Network testing to support delivery of the program. The role requires taking an active part in all testing related activities including test planning and execution, test automation, providing testing support, maintaining, improving test processes, tooling, and outputs, whilst working in an agile team.
About you
Test Lead experience with a minimum 12 years of hands-on experience in the Infrastructure & Network testing.
Experience in performing hands-on Infrastructure testing activities for large IT Infrastructure and Network projects including uplift & migration.
Experience in developing test cases for Telephony Infrastructure projects, focusing on replacing existing PABX system to SAAS solution and all associated functionalities like IVR, etc. for end-to-end delivery.
Experience in Test automation (Infrastructure / Network) in complex environments.
Willingness to upskill in languages such as Python, Shell, or PowerShell.
Ability to create and maintain Test Plans/Test Cases and Test Summary reports that appropriately address the risk and complexity of the program.
Testing experience of IT Networking changes including but not limited to on-prem/cloud connectivity checks, Firewall rules, Bandwidth verification and Routing.
Testing of WAN, Wi-Fi services, Data-centre networks and SD-WAN solutions.
Prior hands-on working knowledge on testing SD-WAN changes or large organizations network implementations is highly desirable.
Testing of application/services that integrate with Infra/OS/Network layers.
Experience in performing intelligent inquiry and co-ordination with multiple Vendors, Application owners, testing teams & Business stakeholders for Technical Testing & UAT activities.
Expertise with Test management tools such as JIRA, QMETRY, and Confluence or similar tools.
Able to perform feasibility analysis for Infra automation and knowledge of Infra automation frameworks & test suite development would be desirable.
