The successful candidate will ensure the implementation of quality testing methods to align with best practice ICT testing frameworks which encompasses strategies, policies, processes, templates, tools, and standards. Role responsibilities:Develop and maintain test automation scripts using the existing tools and technology in place as per the requirements of the project.Maintain an in-depth knowledge of testing and technical specialists and provide sound advice and recommendations on any aspect of test planning and execution.Review technical and business design requirement and identifies alternative solutions.Defines risk based and requirements-based testing scope to ensure solution is fit for purpose.Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders including mentoring and leading team members providing peer reviews, training and support.You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following key capabilities, knowledge, and experience. Within the context of the responsibilities described above under 'Key Responsibilities', the ideal applicant will be someone who can demonstrate the following:Demonstrated experience in the development of test plans and test cases and ensuring compliance to testing and technical policies, standards, and procedures within a large, complex IM/ICT program/project(s) environment (SFIA Skill: TEST: Level 4)Demonstrated experience in testing, including experience with testing methodologies and tools for large, complex IM/ICT program/project(s) (SFIA Skill: TEST: Level 4)Experience in specifying and developing test scenarios to ensure user acceptance and records and analyses test results, and reports any unexpected or unsatisfactory outcomes (SFIA Skill: TEST: Level 4)Ability to provide expert advice in relevant testing techniques and methods and tools for large scale complex organisations (SFIA Skill: METL: 4)Benefits of working with eHealth Queensland: By joining eHealth Queensland, you will work within a fast-paced, challenging and supportive environment where every employee plays a critical role in our ongoing success.
