Due to expansion, they are looking for a Territory Manager to join their sales team in Melbourne. Since the headquarters is based in Sydney, this will be an autonomous role. However, you will collaborate every day with the Sales Manager, Category Managers & Sales Support employees in order to support the customers on projects and drive profitable growth. Job DescriptionDrive growth and accelerate market penetration for the range of equipment within government, industrial, agriculture and mining industryDevelop sales strategies based on company's competitive and success elementsVisit customers within the Victorian / Tasmanian market (minimum of 3 days per week on road)Work with the expanding team of commercial, marketing, engineering leadersBuild and maintain trusted relationships with operations managers, continuous improvement specialists, quality, environmental and engineering teams in end user companiesContribute to the preparation, design, and generation of proposals and bidsStay updated on industry trends and market competition The Successful Applicant5+ years of experience with business development and sales management within the environmental industryExisting environmental network within the government, industrial, agriculture and/or mining industryExcellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skillsExcellent team working skills and able to work autonomouslyHigh level of emotional intelligence with active listening skillsResiding in the Melbourne / Victoria and possessing full working rights What's on Offer This role as a Territory Manager will be a vital part of the business to grow strategically in the Victorian and Tasmanian market.
