Your duties will also include:Working at heights, installing mobile / broadcast antenna systems, RRU, feeders, Microwave Link install and panningInstalling / Erecting steelwork, monopoles, towers, etc. as required on both Greenfield and Co-Lo sitesInstalling and testing of hybrid cablesPIM testing, sweep testing, distance to fault, terminating feeders, bird-proofing and waterproofing connectorsReading / interpreting construction and As-built drawings and completing works to specification and standardsInstalling and maintaining antenna and feeder cables on monopoles and towersChecking, maintaining and operating equipment in accordance with the requirements of safety, efficiency, and calibration proceduresRigging and general work, as required by the company. Including site constructability inspections where there could be gaps and scope changeRequired Skills and ExperienceProven experience as telecommunication riggerExperience with NBN wireless, Optus, TPG (desirable)Current intermediate or advanced rigging ticketAble to supervise / lead a team of riggersAbility to work with EWP and cranesExperience in site setup and management to strict safety standardsWorking at heights and Perform Tower Rescue certified, with the ability to comfortably operate at heights regularly (i.e., climbing up to 80m).
