While our services have evolved significantly, we are keen to drive and promote our telco practice offering, which focuses on two main areas: procurement (helping our clients define needs and select vendors) and ongoing telco management services (bill verification, MDM etc.).
Reporting to the CEO, the role will see you develop and grow Dog and Bone's telco management practice, working with a range of technologies, services and vendors that deliver value to our clients.You will be an integral part of the telco consulting team, responsible for both the management of the existing client relationships and business development.
You will also be responsible for working with the technical team to hand over projects to ensure a smooth transition from sales to project delivery.You will regularly visit potential and existing clients to build and maintain relationships and be seen as a trusted independent adviser who understands their requirements and offers solutions.
This is a role you are empowered to own and drive forward.About youWe are looking for an experienced business development professional with a telco background who has drive and commitment, shares our values and wants a rewarding role that will contribute to the growth and development of our telco consulting practice and ongoing telco management service.You are an excellent communicator, with the ability to deliver complicated messages in a non-technical way, bridging the gap between business and technology.
You have a strong acumen in the telecommunications sector and have experience in managing clients from pre-sales through to project closure.Key selection criteriaDemonstrated ability to develop and strengthen relationships with clients.A proven track record of delivering growth amongst existing client-base, together with successfully seeking opportunities to generate new business.The ability to source and convert new clients.Experience developing and implementing strategies, campaigns and initiatives that lead to obtaining new sales and/or growing sales in existing clients.A strong existing network.At least 10 years' experience working in the Australian telco environment.Experience consulting to or working with not-for-profits, and a genuine passion for supporting the sector.Demonstrated experience in telco project delivery.Understanding of a broad range of technologies and telco services typically used in not-for-profit organisations.Excellent written communication skills in report writing and documentation.Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to present to small groups of stakeholders.Proven experience, expertise and/or certification in Project Management.If this sounds like you, please send your resume, LinkedIn profile and cover letter through the application link!Dog and Bone is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive work environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
