The role involves overseeing daily IT operations, strengthening IT and security practices, and contributing to the advancement of development technology platforms.
This role is ideal for an IT support professional with at least 4 years of experience in support, service desk, or field technician roles, who is adaptable and technically motivated.
Responsibilities Provide network support and troubleshooting for the Windows platform.
Troubleshoot, configure, support, and maintain Windows-based servers.
Manage equipment and computer procurement, assembly, maintenance, and IT asset registry.
Serve as the first point of contact for triaging in-house systems and third-party software issues.
Collaborate with development teams to develop secure, effective solutions for both business and development needs.
Troubleshoot, configure, and support cloud services, including Azure and AWS.
Troubleshoot, configure, and support critical network devices such as firewalls, switches, and PABX.
Troubleshoot, configure, and support security solutions and SASE platforms.
Troubleshoot, configure, and support Microsoft 365 platforms.
Provide troubleshooting, configuration, and support for mobile devices like smartphones and tablets.
Offer support for third-party applications and vendor-related issues.
Handle data manipulation and loading into in-house systems.
Perform system migrations, both on-premises and cloud-based.
Collaborate with various internal teams to offer solutions and technical support.
Skills required 4+ years of IT industry experience.
Certified with a major IT vendor (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco, Fortinet).
Proficient in network security (Subnets, DMZ, Firewall, VPN, Wireless).
Skilled in implementing and supporting Windows Server (2012, 2019, AD).
Experienced in troubleshooting Windows 10 devices.
Expertise in firewalls, wireless networks, and switches.
Familiar with virtualisation (Hyper-V, VMWare, ESXi).
Proficient in Microsoft 365 platform support.
Knowledgeable in security solutions and protection.
Experienced with Microsoft Azure and AWS.
Strong customer service, communication, and documentation skills.
Excellent troubleshooting, organisational, and analytical abilities.
Quick learner, continuously improving efficiency.
Experience with Excel and ecommerce platforms (eBay, Amazon, TradeMe) is a plus.
