Nestlé Campbellfield, the home of KitKat, Smarties, Aero, Milky Bar, Anticol/Soother/Butter Menthol Medicated Lozenges and more, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Technical Store Keeper to join our Maintenance team on Day Shift. Your role will primarily focus on maintaining our Technical Store and assets in a manner that supports manufacturing excellence.
A day in the life…You will be responsible for, and have the ability to deliver in the following areas: Execute spare part management routines including: spare parts receiving and issue, spare parts reorder, spare parts storage to ensure spare parts availability.Review spare parts reorder levels based on maintenance strategies to optimize inventory.Analyse slow moving parts to ensure no obsolete parts are being held on stock.Establish and execute inventory control: cycle counting, access process, users training.Create new store materials/update existing store material master data.Create/update equipment/functional location bill of materials to increase visibility for stakeholders to reduce downtime.Update store purchase order prices as requested by the vendor/stakeholders using Nestlé compliant processes.Update PIR records and manage PK/BK invoice to ensure minimal interruption to re-order.Use PIR buyer support K2/IT service portal to create tickets with NBS to enable master data/price changes/purchase order updates/deletions.Create overdue purchase orders report and follow up/communicate with vendors to minimise material shortages/plant disruption.Work proactively in a continuous improvement environment.What will make you successful:Minimum 2 years' experience working in Maintenance in a large scale manufacturing facility.Able to read and interpret schematic drawings.Computer literacy and proficiency with SAP or a similar maintenance management program.Good time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Proactive cooperation and a demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment.A willingness and ability to learn new processes.The initiative and courage to speak out when correction is required.We can offer you:Positive and collaborative work culture.We offer a 36 hour week, 9 days a fortnight working hours.Employment terms and conditions are as per the Nestle Australia Limited National Framework Agreement 2021-2024.You may be required to work overtime during the week and on weekends, paid on penalty rates.We have canteen facilities onsite and supply tools, PPE and uniforms.Nestlé employee benefits including Employee Assistance program, up to 18 weeks paid Parental leave, Employee recognition program, company Service Awards.
