This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with demonstrated skills in technology and environmental monitoring, to deliver Precision Ag soil sampling services provided by AGnVET to its customers in the Shepparton-Cobram region.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Maintain and support existing environmental software platforms and investigate and develop new platforms.
Provide training for internal and external clients on software, apps and services available.
Communicate with users and ensure high quality services are delivered to agronomists, farmers and other clients.
Implement quality assurance process and identify improvements and efficiencies in service delivery.
Develop and maintain internal contacts and industry networks with relevant business groups.
About You
You will have a strong interest in agriculture and experience working with technology such as programming, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, whilst desirable is not a requirement, however an interest and willingness to learn is essential.
You love working with people with the aim to provide customers with solutions to address their needs.
Ideally you will have experience in agriculture and qualifications in IT or similar field.
Other skills and experience will include Microsoft (Excel, Teams), Smartsheet, time management, problem solving skills and effective interpersonal skills.
