Position Overview: In this role, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects within the utilities sector.
From renewable energy initiatives to grid modernisation projects, you will have the opportunity to lead diverse and impactful endeavors that shape the future of energy distribution and management.
Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end project management lifecycle, from project initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, finance, and regulatory affairs to define project requirements, objectives, and deliverables.
Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocations to support successful project execution.
Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing challenges to minimize impact on project timelines and objectives.
Foster strong stakeholder relationships, providing regular project updates and fostering open communication channels to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
Utilize project management tools and methodologies to drive efficiency and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
Champion a culture of continuous improvement, leveraging lessons learned to refine processes and enhance project outcomes.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field; PMP certification preferred.
Proven track record of successfully managing technical projects within the utilities or energy sector.
Strong understanding of utility operations, regulations, and industry best practices.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across diverse stakeholder groups.
Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or similar platforms.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, balancing multiple priorities with a focus on delivering results.
