About The Role: As a key member of the Nursing and Health teams, this role is responsible for setting up and maintaining the simulation labs for students and teachers.
The key purpose of this role is to oversee the day-to-day operational functions of the simulation labs and support the teaching team in delivering quality vocational education and training.
This involves ordering equipment, setting up the lab to teacher needs and stock management.
We are excited about you because you have: Qualifications: Certificate, diploma, or degree in relevant fields such as Laboratory Technology, Science, Nursing, Health and/or other related fields And/or relevant experience as a Technical Officer/Laboratory Technician in a secondary or tertiary education setting Experience and Knowledge Specialist knowledge and experience in preparation of Health and Community course-related lab practicals, manufacture of teaching aids, purchasing of materials, and maintenance of medical, simulation, AV and teaching equipment including Nursing manikins and task trainers Demonstrated knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations and principles as they relate to a workshop/simulated workplace environment servicing a wide range of users.
Strong proficiency with technology, IT management systems and MS Office suite, experience working with various technologies and digital platforms, including troubleshooting and optimizing their use Proficient customer service and interpersonal skills.
