We have successfully designed and implemented complex systems and advised senior technology executives.
We are a member of the ServiceNow Partner Program, providing specialist expertise and services, technology (application development) and sales (licences).
About the role :
At Novabridge, the ServiceNow Technical Consultant is responsible for providing expert guidance, technical solutions, and support to clients implementing and customizing the ServiceNow platform. This role involves working closely with clients and your project team to understand the client requirements, designing solutions, and ensuring successful deployment and integration of ServiceNow applications.
Key Responsibilities: Consultation and Requirement Gathering: Work with clients to understand their business processes and requirements, conduct workshops and meetings to gather detailed requirements, and provide expert advice on ServiceNow capabilities and best practices.
Solution Design and Development: Design technical solutions based on client requirements, develop and configure ServiceNow applications, modules, and workflows, and ensure the designed solutions are scalable, maintainable, and adhere to best practices.
Implementation and Integration: Lead and execute the implementation of ServiceNow solutions, integrate ServiceNow with other systems and applications as needed, and perform data migration and ensure data integrity.
Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test plans to ensure the functionality and quality of solutions, identify and fix defects and issues during testing phases, and perform regular reviews and updates to ensure continuous improvement.
Training and Support: Provide training and documentation for clients and end-users, offer ongoing support and troubleshooting for deployed solutions, and assist with the creation of user guides and training materials.
Project Management: Manage multiple projects and prioritise tasks effectively, coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery, and track project progress and report status to clients and management.
Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow features and industry trends, participate in knowledge sharing and continuous learning activities, and contribute to the improvement of internal processes and methodologies.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience as a Technical Consultant or similar role with ServiceNow. Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform, including ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, and other modules. Experience with ServiceNow scripting and development (GlideScript, Business Rules, Client Scripts, etc.). Knowledge of integration technologies (REST, SOAP, JDBC, etc.). Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator, Certified Implementation Specialist) are a plus. Security Clearance: Successful candidates must either hold an active Federal security clearance of Negative Vetting 1 (NV1), or higher, or be willing to undergo the security clearance process. Only Australian citizens will be considered. There are lots of wonderful visa-holders available to work in Australia, but sadly, our clients require our team to hold federal government security clearances.
