Lime Recruitment is currently working with a Queensland government department to recruit a Technical Business Analyst contract to 30/06/2025 plus 12-month extension option based in the Brisbane CBD and working from home.
Key responsibilities of this role:
Definition of comprehensive Project Scope and Objectives
Gather and analyse both functional and non-functional requirements from a broad range of internal, external, technical, and business stakeholders.
Produce detailed documentation and plans, such as Business cases, Business Requirements and Specifications, RACI, Stakeholder Analysis, Process Flow Diagrams, Risk Assessments, Financial Plans, Test Plans, Transition and Training Plans.
Development of Solution Options that are Robust, Scalable, Secure, Cost Effective and Supportable.
Delivery of an extensive future Operating Model.
Support the design and integration of the data platform and connected systems.
Work closely with the Project Manager, Solutions Architect, developers, and other IT staff to ensure cohesive and timely project delivery.
Adherence to Whole of Government, Agency Standards, and Industry Practices.
You will have:
Strong background in real-time and batch data projects as well as IP Networks, SCADA and related domains.
Extensive professional experience as a Business Analyst (preferably within transportation or data-centric projects in SCADA domains).
Strong familiarity with products in Cloud (AWS, Azure), IP Networks and Data streaming platforms (e.g., Kafka).
Exposure to OT / IT Networks, SCADA, IoT and Industrial Control Systems.
Understanding of the feasibility Testing Process, SAT and UAT.
Understanding of Integration, Interfaces and DevOps Concepts.
Ability to present technical solutions that are fit-for-purpose and ensure value for money.
Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills. Excellent communication, leadership, and presentation skills.
A proven track record of successful delivery.
