Technical Analyst, Investment PerformanceThe Investment Performance team is high performing and focused on providing in-depth investment analytics to a variety of internal and external stakeholders. This technical role supports the team by maintaining and validating investment data, creating performance databases, and new performance data feeds. Other responsibilities include assisting in compiling performance results to feed reports and dashboards, creating new insights in collaboration with the investments team, as well as liaising with data suppliers.This role will suit candidates with an eye for detail that possess hands-on technical experience with investment data processes and performance calculations. This may be from superannuation, funds management, custody or asset consulting.Other keys to your success include:Experience with interpreting, manipulating and analysing data in relational databases using SQL to ensure data integrity, accuracy and completeness. This includes interpreting existing SQL scripts, writing queries in SQL, and writing scripts to draw out useful business insights.Experience working within the Azure ecosystem, SQL databases, function Apps, Data Factory, Logic Apps, and Databricks.Knowledge and practical experience working with investment data at the security level, i.e., holdings, transactions, corporate actions, T&Cs, etc.Experience with third-party investment systems such as Ortec PEARL, FactSet, BarraOne, Datastream, or Bloomberg is beneficial.Belong at CbusWe value difference and embrace people with diverse backgrounds, experiences, gender identities, abilities, and thinking styles.
