Technical Advisor (Ak7583)

This role is a semi-productive position in a Regional QLD location - just 20 minutes from stunning beaches. Fantastic hourly rate on offer!Our client operates a successful multi-franchised dealership located in the Whitsundays region of Queensland. They are seeking a Technical Advisor to join their team and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the workshop, based in the town of Proserpine. This role will be semi-productive.To be considered for this role, the right person must be a trade qualified Automotive Technician (as the role is semi-productive) with strong dealership experience. They must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be computer literate, have a commitment to excellent customer service, and possess a strong ability to multi-task. You must also be highly skilled in vehicle diagnostics, with both mechanical and electrical systems.Key job functions:Provide expert advice to customers on technical issuesMentor, train, and provide workshop support to staffProduce repair ordersAttend technical training when requiredWork closely with all staff in the department while reporting to the Service ManagerLiaise with the workshop to ensure time constraints are metDiagnose vehicle mechanical and electrical systemsAssist workshop technicians with technical issuesHandle parts orderingManage customer complaintsPromote a safe work environmentAdhere to warranty requirementsTo be successful in this unique role, you must hold strong mechanical abilities, whilst also having the right nature to train and mentor staff, and assist customers in understanding technical issues with their vehicles.For further information on this Technical Advisor role, please contact Katie Cummins on 0480 002 343 quoting job number AK7583.
