Team Member - Deals, Tax & Legal (DTL)

The Darwin Deals, Tax & Legal team provides a broad range of services to our private client network across Northern Australia. The core of our business is tax compliance but our focus is on providing value added Advisory services supporting our clients growth and the achievement of their goals.

This is an entry level role for someone either near or post completion of a university degree or relevant studies. Providing support and assistance on engagements and participating in a wide range of activities. Takes direction from others in completing tasks and assignments. With increased experience, takes ownership and delivers a high standard of own work. Actively seeks out work from more senior team members and begins to execute defined activities. Begins to build knowledge of the business. This role can be either full-time or part-time (minimum three days per week) where in the process of completing University.
Your opportunity will include, but not be limited to:Providing support to the DTL and Office Support Teams
Contributing to the ability of KPMG to record important information and responding quickly to internal & external clients
Obtaining technical capabilities relevant to the role
Completing specific tasks that meet the team's and client's expectations
Prioritising multiple tasks appropriately by using effective time management skills
Keeping senior management informed of significant developments and progress on processes
Identifying potential problems and solving appropriately or escalating to next level for resolution
Working collaboratively, assisting with anything that needs to be done, working alongside people who have a diverse range of skills, styles and approaches
How are you ExtraordinaryCurrently studying or completed a Bachelor of Business or Commerce
High level client communication skills
Administrative experience with knowledge of office software
A strong sense of accountability and a commitment to delivering quality service
Self-motivation, initiative and resilience
