Permanent full time role Salary Level: CWT5 Salary: $78,448 per annum (FTE) plus superannuation and annual leave loading One rostered day off per fortnight Based in: North Plympton About the role As the Team Member Building Maintenance you will be responsible for maintaining and upgrading Council's assets.
This role will involve hands-on maintenance and upgrade works, liaising with service and maintenance contractors, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
You will conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain our buildings to a high standard, ensuring minimal disruption to staff and members of the public.
Key responsibilities include Performing general maintenance tasks on Council-owned assets, including carpentry, painting, minor concrete works, fencing, tiling, roofing and minor building maintenance.
Undertaking inspections and audits to ensure compliance with Work Health and Safety (WHS) standards.
Actioning maintenance requests effectively and in a timely manner.
Maintaining and replenishing consumables and equipment for CWT worker occupied buildings.
Do you have?
A relevant trade-related ticket or previous hands-on experience in the building and construction industry.
Hold a minimum Class MR driver's licence.
An ability to liaise effectively with contractors and possess strong interpersonal skills.
Self-motivation along with a high level of initiative and problem-solving skills.
An ability to perform manual labour and can demonstrate a strong mechanical aptitude.
