About the role Lead a team to deliver analysis, intelligence and risk functions at the NHVR across a growing footprint of jurisdictions to ensure a nationally consistent, effective and coordinated regulatory response that ensures a safe and compliant heavy vehicle industry.
Key responsibilities include: Plan and co-ordinate the analysis, intelligence and risk functions to increase compliance using risk profiles and other analysis tools.Supervise and motivate team members for performance including identifying training and resourcing requirements.Lead the identification and profiling of high-risk transport operators and other associated parties within the transport supply chain to support the NHVR's investigation function.Support the identification of strategic and emerging trends and patterns of non-compliance that pose a threat or opportunity to the achievement of the NHVR's strategic objectives and current operational, investigative and policy priorities.What's on Offer Full time, permanent position based in either Brisbane or Parramatta. Intelligence professional with experience in leading and supervising teams with the ability to support preparation, production and coordination of team deliverables and deadlines.Strong communication skills including the ability to clearly and concisely articulate complex issues and risks.Ability to lead a team and remain hands on with day-to-day tasks.Experience in the use and application of relational databases and intelligence analysis tools for visual, temporal, and spatial analysis is highly regarded.Currently holds, or eligible to hold, a Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) security clearance.Application Process We look forward to receiving your application, including CV and cover letter.
