We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Team Leader to join our Operations and Maintenance team in Mount Isa Qld on an 8 month max term basis Reporting to the Regional Manager you will responsible for the day to day safe operation and maintenance of the Moomba Compressor Station and Far West QLD pipeline assets, managing geographically dispersed remote teams comprised of knowledgeable trades technicians.
Key Responsibilities Lead and foster high performing teams including a mature safety culture ensuring a sustainable workforce plan.
Health and safety of the operations and maintenance of the assets and its personnel Operations and maintenance of the assets to ensure they are reliable and available for commercial operations.
Ensure regulatory, compliance and contractual obligations are met.
Support stakeholder expectations, communications, and change.
Provide subject matter expert advice and operational support to key stakeholders.
Your background Demonstrated Operational and relevant Trade or Engineering qualifications.
Demonstrated experience of Works Management Systems WMS Sound knowledge of asset management including construction, commissioning and maintenance Demonstrated frontline leadership experience in developing, manage team performance and engagement of Operation teams.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across the organisation and externally; by building and developing relationships based on trust, integrity, and credibility.
About the Team The Far West QLD Operations & Maintenance team exist to safely operate APA gas transmission assets in an efficient and cost-effective manner to enable APA to achieve its business strategy and goals, extract maximum value from its assets, and deliver value for its customers.
