Your role at St John of God St John of God Langmore Hospital You will be responsible to provide a high standard of administrative support to Consulting Doctors, ensure a high level of customer service is provided to Consulting Doctors and their patients and provide assistance to the Consulting Suites Co-ordinator.
The Position Foster a clinical team culture of interdisciplinary collaboration leading to improved patient outcomes Monitor patient, doctor and caregiver satisfaction results.
Respond to results by ensuring interventions are designed, implemented and evaluated to address areas which fail to meet benchmark standards.
Provide leadership, through effective personal, professional communication, and interpersonal capabilities and change management as well as team and strategic capabilities – as outlined in the SJGHC Leadership Profile.
Access and interpret data to monitor and improve the quality of the service or identify new opportunities in order to grow the ministry and provide a strategic direction and vision for the unit.
Supervise Consulting Suites administration staff to ensure all key duties are undertaken.
Monitor delegated tasks to ensure correctness.
Booking and scheduling of Consulting Doctor's appointments and to maintain an accurate record of patients seen.
Participate in the documentation of Risk Assessments and Standard Operating Procedures for activities that could pose a OHS risk.
You will have to demonstrate high level of efficiency in multi-task office environment and be familiar with medical terminology proficiency.
You will demonstrate sound communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with general public, patients, doctors, fellow caregivers and management.
To be successful, you will have initiative and demonstrate reliability, be self-motivated and able to work without supervision, and be efficient at multi-tasking within an office environment.
