We are now accepting applications for the following teaching positions, commencing in Term 1, January 2025 .
Health and Physical Education Teachers Primary-Trained Teacher Willing to Teach Secondary Class of Young Men You will be a part of the school's strategic direction, embracing our vision of fostering resilience and cultural understanding, by delivering a bilingual education program that sets high expectations for students and faculty.
Due to cultural sensitivity, we are seeking a qualified teacher, preferably male, to work with young men.
This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute in a culturally respectful and supportive environment.
More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to: Delivering engaging and culturally sensitive lessons to students Collaborating with local and non-local staff to ensure a cohesive teaching approach Implementing the Australian Curriculum effectively Supporting students with English as an Additional Language or Dialect (EAL/D) Managing classroom behaviour through consistent and collective school-wide practices Assisting in the development and implementation of individualised learning plans Participating in community activities and fostering positive relationships Utilising collaborative teaching methods to enhance learning experiences Your Skills: Educate and Make Impact To qualify, you will need a recognised teaching qualification and eligibility for Northern Territory Teacher Registration .  While not a prerequisite, previous background or experience in education systems of remote or rural areas will be highly valued.
Additionally, the following skills and background are essential: Familiarity with the Australian Curriculum Experience with English as an Additional Language or Dialect (EAL/D) and bilingual education practices Strong behaviour management skills Ability to adapt to a remote and culturally diverse environment A deep respect for Indigenous cultures and the ability to work alongside community members As our ideal candidate, you will possess patience, flexibility, and resilience that will make you succeed in this role, as well as an enthusiastic demeanour and a genuine interest in learning about Aboriginal culture, making you an ideal fit.

Current NT Teacher Registration You must be eligible to work Full-Time in Australia - Unlimited Work Rights About the Benefits Earn $85,094 to $122,036 PLUS super (salary is commensurate to the number of years of experience - determined by previous statements of service) Superannuation 11.5% Salary packaging up to $15,900 Free, fully furnished accommodation with utilities up to a certain threshold Relocation allowance Special teaching allowance Return flights with a maximum 3 days of accommodation once a term to Darwin Access to new community pool  Professional development opportunities Weekly freight for groceries, covered by the school Lastly, you will have the unique opportunity to live and learn in a remote Indigenous area, immersing yourself in a culturally rich environment.
