This is a 12-month fixed term, full-time position commencing Term 2, 2025, with possible extension (12 months) and/or permanency. Since 1921, Pinjarra Senior High School (SHS) has proudly served the community of Pinjarra and its surrounding region. The school provides a blend of traditional and innovative programs designed to prepare students from Year 7 – 12 for higher education, vocational training, and employment.

The Role We are seeking a Teacher who excels in engaging and motivating students through creating a safe and inclusive learning environment. The successful applicant will ideally display strong professional knowledge and a repertoire of effective instructional practices to challenge students and enrich learning experiences. The ability to differentiate the curriculum to support individual student progress is important, as is the capacity to form strong relationships with students, colleagues, parents/caregivers, and external stakeholders and partners who support the school. The successful applicant should have the capacity to use a range of data to inform planning and assessments, provide explicit feedback, and monitor student performance.

As a Mathematics Teacher at Pinjarra SHS, you will join our dedicated, experienced team to develop, review, and deliver the Mathematics curriculum. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to apply their expertise of the Mathematics Learning Area across Years 7 to 12, utilising their knowledge and teaching experience to encourage and support all our students to aspire to continuous growth.
